    Manager's Profile

Our operations manager Mike Christensen hails from Denmark and has been welcoming guests in Echo Valley since 2018. His other occupations at the ranch are wrangler, guide, and dog whisperer and the favourite part of his job is turning the horses back out to pasture at the end of the day.

His best tip for guests is to remember to just try and "be" while in Echo Valley, and connect with all that nature has to offer here.

Farm Fresh Dining is experiencing a truly local and authentically Canadian menu. Prepared with a love for food, nature, and our culture of sustainability. We believe in the 100-Metre-Diet, using only the finest ingredients for what we cannot grow ourselves.

We are proud to raise our own cattle and grow our own produce in our ranch garden and greenhouse. We’ve restored the original root cellar of the Echo Valley homestead, where we keep produce over the winter and seeds from year to year. The ranch fruit trees supply delicious desserts like apple pie, and our berry patches are a favourite among guests and staff alike.

Chef Jason Folk and his team have created a new dining experience for 2021. Flexible meal times, daily menu options, room service options, and private tables are a perfect complement to our new individualized all-inclusive package. Farm fresh cuisine, your way.

    Visitor Reviews

Dont just take our word for it, see what visitors like you say...

    Our new family tradition

Echo Valley Ranch will now be our family's annual vacation spot! My boys loved the wide open space. They played fetch with the ranch dogs and rode the gentle horses. I loved having a chef! Every meal was lovingly prepared. We stayed in a lovely log home with a four poster bed, fine linens and a deep soaker tub. There were two queen size beds in our home and a fun loft for the boys upstairs. Very good coffee was always available in the lounge very early in the morning with jars of freshly baked cookies. There is so much for families to do at Echo Valley Ranch. Fly fishing, horseback riding, hiking, spa treatments, yoga, bike riding, climbing on tractors and trees. The drive up to the ranch was something else. Don't be put off by the length of the drive. It is breathtaking and certainly a special part of the trip. I left Echo Valley Ranch a different person. We will most certainly be back every year.
